Ow!
"Michael Moore's record certainly didn't last long. The Associated Press reports that the new documentary "Spider-Man 2" took in $40.5 million in its first day, far more than the $24.1 million "Fahrenheit 9/11" earned in an entire week.
OK, we know some will dispute our characterization of "Spider-Man 2" as a documentary. But hey, it tells essential truths, doesn't it?"

Free North Korea!
"Could I ask all of you a huge favor? Could those of you who live in the US bring up with your legislators and media contacts the idea of using balloons to carry radios and food into NK bypassing and infuriating the NK government ?
I think that if there is one thing we could do that would make an immediate change in NK that is it.. (For example, if we are sending food in by a Berlin-Airlift-like campaign of random balloons, the NK government will HAVE to step up its own food 'distribution' if it hopes to counter the food balloons.) And its so very cheap relative to the 'damage' it might do.. very cheap!
We need to have a parallel campaign to break the information blockade alongside our military deterrents.. That is a valid and I think very effective strategy in that it could force them to the negotiating table as surely as the nuclear issue in essence forces us..
Its a good parallel to draw.. Free, unfettered information is like a nuclear bomb to Kim Jong Il..and its one he has no answer to.. Break down the walls!
Chris "
Clearly based on detailed knowledge, which is more than can be said for the Chinese press's claim that this is a "naked" protest for world peace by Argentinian super models. Those are clearly semi-naked standard models.
